Hello,
I'm currently building a pair of Arduino controlled battle tanks. The tanks will use IR LEDs and receivers for 'firing' at each other.
Question: I'm wondering if anyone can recommend an appropriate IR LED and receiver that will create an accurate enough beam so there aren't a lot of false hits? I see that the TV-B-Gone uses 'narrow-beam' LEDs, but I can't find more information about where to purchase.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
