Desolder Pins?

Hello. I bought a WIZnet W5100 breakout module from Sparkfun (https://www.sparkfun.com/products/9473#comment-53eecc60757b7f37518b4567) and I would like to remove all of the header pins so I can solder on my own wires. There are two sets of 2x10 pins. Does anyone have a good approach on how to remove the pins without braid or flux? My idea was to heat up the plastic on the pins, remove the plastic, and then pop each pin out individually, but I was wondering if anyone had a better idea. Thanks!

Removing the plastic and then indivual pins is the best way.

Yes
The key is one pin at a time for sure.
May have to add a bit of solder to each pin to get things moving.
Lightly pull with tweezers when the solder melts.

Awesome, thanks. I got all the plastic off and removed all the pins, but I accidentally partially broke off a component on the board. I soldered it back in place, and it actually works. Glad I don't have to order another one. It took us just about two weeks to get all of our parts for this project.
