This year I have been part of team building an electric bike for a competition called EVolocity, which is basically an electric motorsport competition. We have been entering the high school category where everyone has to use the same motor (Cheap Chinese 400W electric bike motor) and same SLA batteries, (12v 18Ah tall variety).
