I was thinking about how to use the RTC DS3231 after the year 2100 because the automatic compensation of this RTC only goes until the year 2100.

DS3231 is very stable, it makes me angry the days I've already used the DS1307.

The data sheet of DS3231 does not explain what the initial year of automatic leap year compensation.

Being able to be used with date from 1970 until 2100?

I asked the manufacturer of ds3231 if it already has some availability forecast of a chip with the stability of the DS3231 and support for years beyond 2100, but I was told that it still has nothing planned.

The Microchip manufacturer has RTC models that support up to the year 2399, but it seems that it has no time base with internal thermal compensation like the ds3231

I was comparing the dates and I found a periodicity, maybe this can be used somehow to take advantage of this excellent chip for dates beyond 2100.

If the current date is between 2101 and 2200: subtract 124 years (which results in a banner from the year 1977 to 2076).

And so on:

2101 ~ 2200: subtract 124 years (1977 ~ 2076).

2201 ~ 2300: subtract 220 years (1981 ~ 2080).

2301 ~ 2400: subtract 316 years (1985 ~ 2084).

2401 ~ 2500: subtract 428 years (1973 ~ 2072).

2501 ~ 2600: subtract 524 years (1977 ~ 2076).

2601 ~ 2700: subtract 620 years (1981 ~ 2080).

2701 ~ 2800: subtract 716 years (1985 ~ 2084).

2801 ~ 2900: subtract 828 years (1973 ~ 2072).

2901 ~ 3000: subtract 924 years (1977 ~ 2076).
