How to correctly power a Servo

Hey all,

Im quite new to Electrical engineering and bought some high strength, high draw servos (Hitec HS-805BB). I found an old cable from my box that supplies a good supply of 5V and 2 Amps. The servos however only draw 800 mA. Is it ok to power the servos with this cable?

Yes. Current is drawn, not pumped, so you should be fine.
