The forum was unavailable for several hours today. Initially it was inaccessible to members, then to all users as an upgrade was carried out. The version numbers on the nginx error message kept increasing.
Couldn't we have been given any warning that this upgrade was going to be carried out and therefore the forum might not be available? This follows recent outages where the DNS entry kept disappearing (as reported by another user). I have two points of access, one uses a cached copy of the DNS entries and I could see the number of users on line dropping, so I know it wasn't just me.
And even now no acknowledgement of any issues today.
