The Fritzing project is looking for collaborators

We are very excited to have received renewed funding which will support us until the end of 2009. This happened not at last thanks to the high interest and encouraging feedback from the community.

We are now looking for collaborators to take Fritzing to the next stage. For the start, we are looking for an electrical engineer and a software developer to work with us in Berlin.
Please see the job posting on our website for all the details: http://fritzing.org/development/jobs

About Fritzing

Fritzing is an open-source initiative to support designers and artists to take the step from physical prototyping to actual product. We are aiming to create a software in the spirit of Processing and Arduino, that allows the designer/artist/researcher/hobbyist to document their Arduino-based prototype and create a PCB layout for manufacturing. The complimenting website helps to share and discuss drafts and experiences as well as to reduce manufacturing costs.

Fritzing is essentially an Electronic Design Automation software with a low entry barrier, suited for the needs of designers and artists. It uses the metaphor of the breadboard, so that it is easy to transfer your hardware sketch to the software. From there it is possible to export CAD files ready to be sent to a PCB manufacturer.

Fritzing is an initiative of the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam and was kicked off last year in a workshop that also involved the Arduino crew.

A 1-paragraph description of the project here would help a lot.

Cheers, fixed!
