Topic: Nano + Motor driver on one board  (Read 358 times) previous topic - next topic

Hello All,

I'm looking to learn how to build a custom board. The nano is about the right size although has far too many pins.

What I's like to achieve is consolidating the adafruit drv8833 board and nano into one and remove the unused pins.

The functions needed are :
6 analog inputs for sensors
4 digital (pwm not necessary) for the motor driver
Power and Grounds etc.
Micro usb loader only

Other than that, the standard circuitry on the board should be the same. This is the part I get slightly mixed up on. I'd like to still use all the features on the Nano, just not sure which pins exactly may be removed and if it will affect the overall stability of the board.

Also maybe you might have a recommendation on a less productive board to start from other than chopping down the nano?
