Does anyone know of an Ethernet shield that's compatible with the Zero? The schematics and tech specs on the Arduino Ethernet shield v2 are not very clear if it'll work.

sorry, I can't help you much, but I am sure about this: The official ethernet shield 2 will not work pluged to a Zero board, becasue it is a 5V shield, and therefore not compatible.

It seems everything is now going in the wifi direction.

Does it have to be a shield ?

If not then these may well suit your needs.
Most if not all will run at 3.3 volts.

There are of course others too.
The trick will be to find the matching library but that should not be too hard.

It may not be the answer you were looking for but its the one I am giving based on either experience, educated guess, google or the fact that you gave nothing to go with in the first place so I used my wonky crystal ball.

I'd prefer a shield just to keep things nice and clean. I did forget about Adafruit's Feather line, they do have an Ethernet equipped model.
