Ok ok! i found the problem!

It was my last windows build that contains an error, probably a not perfectly clean build environment (i should always clean before doing the actual build, my distraction sorry :()
I must setup a build-bot as soon as possible to avoid such errors in the future.

Uploading a fixed version right now, it will be available in a couple of minutes.

here we go:

https://github.com/downloads/arduino/Arduino/arduino-1.5.1r2-windows.zip

please confirm if this solves your issues.

Yep, that fixed it for Windows XP Home SP3.

Yes solve my problem on Win7 64bit

Still not fixed the load examples problem from certain libraries I reported before if on preferences the default path to sketchbook is changed !!!

This is really anoying as I could load directly all my sketchs from the sketchbook menu insted of having to do "Open", browsing to whatever directory to load them.

Solved the problem on Win8 64 bit.

Not fun. (Newest from git, linux64)

Sweet, fixed mine as well.

Cannot launch Due IDE 1.5.1 on OS/X (10.7.5):

Just downloaded a few minutes ago.

Try "ant clean" first.

Nick, probably you have the hardware folder populated, there is a bug that crashes the IDE (we introduced it in the last beta, due to the new Boards menu with sub-options). We are working on it.
I guess we need a more frequent release schedule.

Er, yes. What hardware folder? You mean if I have some things like the Attiny in my Arduino default folder (for support of the other chip types) then the Due IDE won't start? I take it that is what you are saying.

I'm not particularly worried as I don't have a Due yet, I was just trying to help out with a programming question. Still, it's good to have stress testing, eh?

Thank you, it worked.

... but now I feel stupid. Got any ant argument for that?

Exactly that.

Of course
