Has anyone used a headphone male jack for SMD? Currently I am using just a regular headphone male connector and soldering it to two pads on both sides of the pcb but its not the most structurally stable. Does anyone know of a good headphone stereo/mono male plug that is designed for SMD projects? How do products like the square do it?

but you have to buy them in huge quantities... anything that I can buy off of digikey or anything like that? It seems like its not a common part.
