Holy crap, you're absolutely right.
This font is really bad.
I don't know what happened, when it changed.
I was online with my laptop earlier today and didn't see any problem with the font.
But now, with the desktop (zoomed in, 3 taps on ctrl +), it's really bad where it has been OK for months.
I'm using Firefox, if that helps in determining what might be wrong.
