Control Board PWM & Motors

Hello,
I have a projet, build a 6x6 motor robot. The probmlem is the weight. The max load is 10-15kg. So i need big motors and the control board.
So some one have got an idea, whitch motor and board could be used. If it 's possible with encoders.

Thanks

Get a spring scale that will record peak weight: Big Game Fishing Tackle, Reels, Rods and Accessories - Melton Tackle

Load up your robot chassis and pull it around with your scale. Pull it up slopes and across various terrains at various speeds. The peak weight is the maximum thrust you needed. Divide that by the radius of the wheels to calculate the torque required. Use the maximum speed sdesired by the wheel circumference to determine the motor speed needed. You can trade off torque for speed using gearing so most motors are sold based on power. You can use this online calculator to convert torque and speed to power:

Buy a motor (or set of motors) with that total power. Use gearing to get the desired maximum torque and the speed should work itself out.

Thanks for informations
Do you know a seller who sold many motors.

Lots of companies sell motors. Perhaps once you determine how powerful a motor you need someone can recommend a vendor.
