Wow. I can be fairly nostalgic about old computer hardware, in fact cut my teeth on machines with core memory, but I sure wouldn't go that far. Still, I'm glad to see that someone is!
I did my first real programming on an IBM 360. Punched cards too.

For what it is worth, I like to name my computer's hard drive "Core Memory". It is interesting to see how many people notice when I give presentations / send screenshots.
