4x4 LED Button Assistance

Hello, I recently got into Arduino, and I bought the 4x4 LED Buttons (Button Pad 4x4 - LED Compatible - COM-07835 - SparkFun Electronics) and the 4x4 Breakout PCB (Button Pad 4x4 - Breakout PCB - COM-08033 - SparkFun Electronics).

I've searched around but I cannot find a comprehensive tutorial.

What can I do to understand how to use these, and is there a good tutorial?
