dear Global Moderator,

i have task to make a moving text on a RGB LED stips. it need to move from right to left. there are 5 rows of LED strips (30 chips).
for ex:
"hello world" first text than "hello America" second text.

So in effect you have a 5 by 6 matrix? Is that right?

If so wire then up as one long zig zag strip and treat it like a matrix. You need to put a 5 by 6 font look up table in your program memory and use that to convert your ASCII representation of the text into bit patterns.

i know how to connect it. my biggest problem is how to program to work

FastLED library if you use WS2812B LED strips.

does it matter what LED stips you are using?

ieee488

I made a sign that is 7 rows x 42 LEDs wide out of a 5 meter strip that had 60 LEDs per meter.

No. It matters what LED strips you are using.

ieee488

No. It matters what LED strips you are using.
Do you mean

yes, it matters what LED strips you are using
or
no, it does not matter what LED strips you are using

?

Grumpy_Mike

No he means you need LED strips not LED stips, what ever they are.

Emphasis on the 'you'.

OP- no one can help you unless you tell us what components you are working with. Details.
