Hi
I'm trying to make a logger that stores measurements on a uDrive with a timestamp using the DS1307.
If system is pulled of power it sometimes loses time and starts in year 2000 again.
I have checked battery and it is 3V, xtal looks stable.
Also when running complete setup the program stops at SCP1000 but works when only using the SCP1000
Any suggestions on what to look for?
Are the contacts clean of the battery? Have you measured it when connected?
Battery contacts are clean and we measure Vbat away from battery so we don't push connectors down for better contact.
If system is pulled of power it sometimes loses time and starts in year 2000 again.
Is the RTC reset or the Arduino timekeeping code?
Can you post your code?
Have a link to the datasheet of the SCP1000?
What pins do the uDrive use?
many questions, I know ...
What I can measure system isn't reset.
The SCP1000 used is this one:
uDrive is on RS232 so not connected to DS1307 or SCP1000
What starts in the year 2000 again if it is not the RTC?
Fault found with RTC, was problem with soldering on DS1307 socket.
Problem started when slightly bending board!
So now just the SCP1000 problem..
Describe the problem, what do you expect, what do you get, and post your code...
