Arduino For Beginners in Toronto-July 17

Did you know you could build an automated cat laser, a game controller or a turn signal biking jacket using an Arduino?

Have you ever wanted to learn more about Arduino and what it can do? If you're not sure how to get started with Arduino or you want to learn more about it, this workshop is perfect for you!

At our 3 hour Arduino workshop for teens, our instructor will teach you the Arduino basics. They'll explain what Arduino is and what it does. You'll learn how to power it, how to connect to the computer, which batteries you need to use for it, and how to wire it. You'll also learn about the inputs/outputs, the basic flows, algorithms and some basic programming for it, like how it can control lights and motors.
Don't worry if you don't know what any of this means, it's a lot simpler once you start learning and doing at our workshop! Once you figure out the basics, the possibilities of what you can make or control with Arduino are totally up to your imagination!
