How to bootload a standalone ATMega 328P using USB2SERIAL LIGHT

hi i been searching hi and low and would like some advice on how to burn the Duemelinove w/328 bootloader to a breadboard setup using the USB2SERIAL Light adaptor

please if some one can help or point me to the correct link for a tutorial

That will not be enough to program a target chip via ISP. You need to use an arduino board running the arduinoISP sketch or one of several ISP hardware programmer modules that the arduino IDE can support.

Your device is just a USB TTL serial converter module.

that clears up a bit of confusion then

i assumed it was possible as it had a ISCP pinout header on it

i guess thats used to program the adaptor itself

glad i decided to get into Arduino as well as Raspberry Pi
