Title: Help for a Noob

Hello Arduino community I am new to arduino and wanted to know where to get started now, electronics is not new to me ie; I know how t wire a circuit Ohm's law, etc But I wanted to know where I should start for arduino I also wondered if IC chips are compatible with arduino (Such as logic gates, counters, etc) Thanks!

Here's one (http://www.adafruit.com/products/170) that a little less expensive from Adafruit.  Adafruit also has a couple of starter kits that are even cheaper, but they include fewer parts (no motors, servos, or ICs).
