I have got a 400x magnification one of these, although I think all the extra magnification is done in software. But it is still a very good piece of kit.
It was a bit of a faff to get it working with Linux until I found & compiled the source for the driver. It now works on Linux, but only at the native resolution, the driver doesn't support the fancy higher resolutions.
