Topic: How to combine an Arduino, Sun Robotics and Estlcam (Read 326 times) previous topic - next topic

I am trying to make an Ardiono Uno and a Sun Robotics card work. I also got Estlcam installed and it loads some code into the Arduino and all looks fine for Estlcam.

The Power board is:

SunRobotics CNC shield v3 A4988 Controller for RAMPS 1.4 Reprap 3D Printer & GRBL Compatible
GRBL 0.8c compatible. (Open source firmware that runs on an Arduino UNO that turns G-code commands into stepper signals
4-Axis support (X, Y, Z , A-Can duplicate X,Y,Z or do a full 4th axis with custom firmware using pins D12 and D13)
Stepper Motors can be connected with 4 pin molex connectors.
Runs on 12-36V DC.

12 volt is connected to the power board, the Arduino is powered by USB. I get no holding tork on the Nema 17 stepper motor. It is not running from commands from Estlcam.

Anybody who can tell about any wiring needed? I have not made any connections to logic inputs,
