hello arduino forum! as the title say i'm new to the whole arduino and electronics world but i'd very much like to get into both so my first idea was to make an alarm clock as i'm in desperate need of one that works for me, so i decided to build one.
so please help! after some reading at the forum i found tutorials and explanations but they all required some sort of experience, so should i get the hint and start of with something easier or should i go for the clock? and if so what should i get beside the obvious arduino board (preferably uno as i heard) and the basic soldering equipment?
should i get the hint and start of with something easier
Yes, while a clock is not difficult it is defiantly not a raw beginners project. Look at the learning section of this website
And read through them and do one or two. Get the parts needed for the project you are doing.
One good source of projects is the Earthshine book, it is free to download. dave.lab6.com/acid/dump/2009/ASKManual.pdf
They also sell starter kits:- www.earthshineelectronics.com/
However there are other such kits available.
