Android phone + SIM800 communication

Hi Friends,

I am trying to setup a communication system between Android phone and SIM800 via server.

I know how to send data from SIM800 to server, but what i am looking for is how to send commands to SIM800.

Is this possible?

You can send text messages to the device, and make the Arduino respond to the contents of the text message.

I know about Messaging communication...Ive done it. but i want to communicate via Internet, because messaging is more costlier.

I just need a way to direct communicate with SIM800 from phone and vice versa.
