ENC28J60 MAC Address (ELI5)

Hello all,

I'm trying to use the ENC28J60 to send an SMS through temboo (as described here).

So far, I'm not having the best of luck. I wonder if I haven't correctly configured the MAC address.

I used a random MAC address generator from the internet. It gave me this: DBD60A592E64.

Do I need to go into my router and configure anything? Will this MAC address work?

Sometimes a router blocks certain ranges of mac addresses. I had this myself once. Try another mac address. Or keep the first two "0xDE, 0xAD" (of the default "dead beef feed") and generate the reset.
