How to connect GSM shield and Arduino Duemilanove

Hello All,

I got a brand new GSM shield from Sparkfun and I am about starting off playing with it. I would like to know how to properly power up the shield and get it working.

You should provide more info, this question is vague. Is it this shield - http://www.sparkfun.com/products/9607 - ??

Let me re-frame my question... Which pins should I connect to Arduino ?

It's a shield -- why not just plug it in and connect them all? Or are you asking what pins to use in the software? If so, the web page you pointed to tells you:

Two solder jumpers on the board allow you to select which serial pins interface with the cellular module - software (D2, D3) or hardware (D0, D1).
