So… like a moron I accidentally plugged +12v into the 5v in on my uno. Now for some reason it doesn’t seem to work, go figure. My question is, does anyone have a clue as to what I fried so I can replace it, or is the only repair a hammer smack and a trash can?

That is the case I'm afraid. It would have burned out both processors on the board and perhaps several other components. Being some of the components are SMD devices and not easily unsoldered/soldered by the inexperienced and any commercial repair service would charge more for labor and parts then a replacement board is worth. I would chalk it up to a lesson learned and go get a new board.
