Hi all.  I purchased an adafruit 2050 3.5" TFT 320x480 + Touchscreen Breakout Board w/MicroSD Socket - HXD8357D and I was wondering what id the size limit for the SD card?  I can't find any reference to a limitation but I know from experience with other products and operating systems that there usually is one.

Hi.

I don't know that display, but usually these SD cards aren't part of the display and or it's accompanying driver hardware.
The SD card slot is just a handy add on or piggyback to the module.
It will have it's own ChipSelect pin and shares the SPI bus with other SPI peripherals.
This means that the limit isn't in the display hardware, but with your Arduino and the library that supports the SD card.
You'd think that the limit would be mentioned in the SDCardNotes (click !) right here on the site.
But they are not.
I'm not sure that means there is no limit.
So i did a google search on "Arduino DS limit", and this came up.
I guess your answer is in there.
Have a look at "blink without delay".
Did you connect the grounds ?
