The Arduino-TWI library is an abstract interface for I2C device drivers. The library includes a software implementation using the Arduino-GPIO library and example device drivers/sketches for the DS1307, Real-Time Clock, and AT24CXX, 2-Wire Serial EEPROM. The example sketches also include a simple I2C bus scanner.

For more details see the doxygen generated on-line documentation.

The latest release of the Arduino-TWI library includes both a software and hardware implementation of the bus manager. The library API does not require any internal buffers and does not put a 32-byte limit on TWI messages as with the Arduino Wire API.

Please see the on-line documentation for further information.

Cheers!
