Title: Power line communication
Post by: andrelcm on Nov 13, 2012, 10:46 pm
Has anyone successfully interfaced Arduino with CY8CPLC10 chip or similar? It has an i2c interface. The problem, at least for me, is the coupling circuit. Does anyone have an schematic of it, like the one attached? Any breakout board?

The application note you point to (AN55427) has a schematic.  It's Figure 2.  You combine it with the power supply (Figure 6) according to Figure 7.

I expect that the CY3272 HV Evaluation Kit includes all that circuitry.

I see, but I want something simpler. Perhaps a non-isolated circuit (no transformer).

Bad idea.
