How to use toggle switches with arduino

Hi,
can any one help with respect to toggle switches connection, i do not want to use it as ON/OFF switch only but as a toggle switch to connect 2 different circuits at one time .. im unable to read the data on both the ends while keeping middle pins as stand alone

a) Place switch in different positions

b) Measure resistance between pins with multimeter

Ground the middle pin. Connect the other ones to data pins appropriately.

This is an ON/OFF/ON switch.

As Nick has said - treat the centre poll as ground and connect the other two legs to which input pin you wish to measure

But using it, he won't be able

to connect 2 different circuits at one time.

Only one at a time.

Hold the switch like the picture you showed.

With the lever in the center position, no connection will be made.
With the lever in the left position, the center pin will be connected to the right pin.
With the lever to the right, the center pin will be connected to the left pin.

Hang on - can you state what you are trying to do here ? If you want to connect TWO DIFFERENT circuits at once then you need a Dual Pole Dual Throw (DPDT) switch. That is not what you have pictured .
