Hello, i need help, i want to connect the battery to the transistor because i want to increase the voltage that the led receive but i don't know why it doesn't work.

Also from your description I don't understand what you're even to try to do - nor where an Arduino or related device would come in play.

LED' drop a constant voltage across them ( in the range 1-2v), the current through them is limited by a series resistor .  I'm guess you want to put more current through your led  than can be provided by an Arduino pin, so you want to
Use a transistor .
