USB Interface Beginner Hardware Question

Hello everyone,

I have a beginner question about the schematics of the USB interface on the Arduino Esplora. First of all is it correct that the elements RN2A, RN2B, RN2C and RN2D (see file attached) are just regular resistors? If so is there a specific reason why they are integrated in one 8 pin device?

Probably an easy to handle package for the pick & place machines.
That part in 1K and 10K values is used in other Arduino designs as well.
Two discrete 22 ohm resistors would have worked just as well.
