Topic: trying to use an arduino-uno to move Hover Board motors_Need Help please (Read 1 time) previous topic - next topic

I am making a robotic T-Shirt cannon, and I am wanting to use the internals of a hover board, mainly the wheels, and the logic board. I am trying to figure out how the Gyros are communicating to the logic board. I am wanting to mimic the signals with the arduino, I am just wanting to at least make the motors move clock wise, and counter clock wise, any help would be greatly appreciated :)

Are you looking to have it self balance?
Or just using it to move your vehicle?

If you are just using it to propel an otherwise stable vehicle, I would skip their electronics entirely and go with a known motor driver.

I am just wanting it to propel, and i was wanting to see if i could just use the ESC motor drivers built into the board.

I don't have one of those logic boards in front of me.
Can you snap some pictures of it and post them here?

Cade_Harrison

my computer is not letting me upload the image, but i can get you the board number if that helps.

ROHS TT-SCCO2B

that is the number in the board if you want to look it up

Very little info on the inter-webs for this.
Pictures from a few ebay auctions.
I can't help but think you would be better off choosing an appropriate motor driver and using that.
