I'm thinking about doing the same thing and was glad to run across this article. I'm new to all of this and was wondering if you had a schematic that you worked from or did you go from the TLC5940 data sheet. Also Sparkfun has a TLC5940 breakout board that I was thinking about using in conjunction with the common anode LEDs you used SparkFun LED Driver Breakout - TLC5940 (16 Channel) - BOB-10616 - SparkFun Electronics, do you have any thoughts on using it?
