Got snow?

My 18" or so on front yard. My mailbox is under the 5-foot+ high pile at the end of the driveway. More coming this weekend too.

That used to be expected about where you are, even down into Connecticut, only 40 or so years ago before the weather started changing.

I am glad weather moves from west to east up here.

Its hard to imagine, sitting in front of a fan in the African summer !

I do remember it from 40 years ago in the UK though,

I recall its only pretty the first morning

Yes, had snow showers last night in my part of the UK. Half an inch maybe? Absolute chaos this morning getting to work. Get to the town where I work and everything is fine!

It's a shame you can't cheap overnight a few cubic meters to pile behind that fan, eh?

Hi,

Now when I was a lad, we got up at..............

...........................................sheeerrr luxury that was... Tell that to young'uns of today.......

Good to see that the big snow was not as biiiggg as it was predicted, and no major harm done.

Must remember 50+ sunscreen tomorrow.. damn sun....Tom..... 8)

We haven't got any yet but we have got an amber snow warning.
I think that means "don't eat amber snow"

LOL AWOL, had me chuckling to myself with that 8)

Just checked the Radar - we're getting more snow!

Next storm nearing the state's western border already.

Maybe you should change your hobby to snow fencing.

You should tell that to hairy guy on my avatar, every snowy day is a day filled with joy for him, (even if it has the wrong color).

It's great to see him having fun at his old age

30 inches, 2 minutes - about a mile from your fencing studio, Crossroads....

We sure didn't see that, about 1.5 mile NE of the club.
We're near the top of 555 foot hill (per GPS), wonder if that makes a difference?
Only knee deep for us, not waist deep.
Except for the end of the driveway, from the plows. My mailbox is just a door in a 5 foot high pile right now.

Maybe you should change your hobby to snow fencing.

That would be like regular fencing, but outside? Might be a little hard keeping the electronics dry.
Maybe go wireless, send touch detections to the scoring machine.

We're a small business, founded in 2007, well past the hobby stage.
CROSS ROADS FENCING CENTER, LLC
MA state registered company.

Nothing like doing 3 sets of taxes every year now - the clubs, ours, and now my son's with his summer jobs between college semesters. His are pretty simple still. The club & ours more complex.

Hi, Crossroads, taxation services.

We used to have a builders yard here that had a very large sign on the building wall.
If you looked at it quickly you would have thought they were accountants or solicitors.

"HARDWOOD, PINEWOOD & OREGON" (O'REGAN)

Tom...

That's like: "Markby, Markby and Markby".

(From "The Importance of Being Earnest").

There was, in the early 70s, in the Republic of Ireland, a firm of lawyers called Argue and Phibbs.

Another 8.5 inches today, and it's still coming down for a couple hours more at least

Just saw this was on to page 2.
Much joked about law firm: Dewey, Cheatham, and Howe.

WOW
Those are snow flowers hanging on the wrought iron?

What deity did you upset :o
