Title: IDE - Sketches, import library display
Post by: donone on Oct 18, 2010, 09:44 pm
I use a NetBook for developing with Arduino IDE. The screen has 600 pixels height. The dropdown menu listing the user libraries, under Sketches/Import Library, goes offscreen at the bottom and does not show the full list (obviously depending on the length of the two lists).

Can something be done to detect this issue and split the droplist?

In your sketches folder, you can can create subfolders. Create one for LED projects, for instance, and move the LED sketch folders into the new subfolder. The new subfolder will appear in the drop down list with an arrowhead next to it, leading to the list of sketches in that folder.

Thank you PaulS. Why is it always obvious once I am told? Don't answer that!
