im having problem with my wii motion plus gyroscope, whenever i try to rotate it only on x-axis it also reads rotation in the y-axis. could it be that my gyroscope is already broken? or is there any chance to fix it?
Good afternoon ...
I'm working with him L3GD20 and I have the option to enable the axis of rotation which I want. Must be the same case.

If you are rotating it on a turntable then I would not expect this to happen.
If you are doing it by hand you could easily be introducing a wobble in the other axes, and since its a
rate gyroscope even a small wobble could give a big signal.
You should integrate the output of each axis independently and look at how those values change with
angle - wobbles will be averaged out and largely cancel.
