Hello, I am new to Arduino and the Arduino IDE. Is there a way to display text/images/buttons on the computer screen? (For example, a program that would allow you to click on buttons on the screen and move a robot, and it would display the robot's orientation)

you can transmit information from the arduino using serial communications, WiFi, Ethernet, etc to the PC
A program on the PC (writen in C, C++, C#, VB, Java, etc) can receive the information and display it

and it would display the robot's orientation
If the program tells the robot to assume the position, there is NO guarantee that the robot will be able to do that.

There is no way to get the robot's current "position".

So, no, you won't be able to do what you want, until you develop more realistic expectations.
The art of getting good answers lies in asking good questions.
