Using a control panel from old washing mashine

First, sorry for any mistakes. English isn't my native language and I'm 14 yeas old.
I want to ask: I have a control panel from old washing machine, which I want to connect to arduino (I don't have one at the moment). The problem is, that with two 7 segment displays and a lot of buttons, there are only eight unmarked wires. My mother ignored me and gave the washing machine to someone for free, so I don't know nothig more than it's a whirpool. I can send pictures if anyone needs. Hope you can help me.
Sincerely, Mis012

Edit: it's Whirpool awe 8725

That front panel is really complicated. Unless you have the means of finding out where to connect a logic analyzer, look at the signals, understand how it all works, and THEN write some code and make some interface electronics to make it do what you want; It's unfortunately not worth it.

Harvest what you can of parts that looks nice/useful.

Start out with a simpler project.
