I would recommend DesignSpark PCB.

Its pretty easy to learn and use and you can import EagleCAD designs

There's plans for a big-ish maker/hack area with a number of UK hack/maker spaces coming together to strut their stuff :-)

I'm really looking forward to it. The other Maker Faires were great events.

E-Day is an unusual hackspace/maker space event happening on Saturday 29th September in that it's been organised by a public library. We think it is the first of its kind definitively in the UK and possibly greater afield.

On the day local groups such as Newcastle Maker Space, Generator and Vector-76 will be doing Arduino, Raspberry Pi and 3D Printing workshops, 3D virtual design and avatars. In general a day of creation and experimentation.

It's free but you'll need to book tickets

Date: Saturday 29 September 2012
Time: 10am to 3pm
Where: Gateshead Central Library, UK
