Some time ago, I constructed a small unidirectional communication system using a laser. I connected an Arduino to a laser, and other Arduino to a LDR sensor. The laser sends pulses of light, the other Arduino receives. The Arduino that emits, is connected to a netbook, and receiving Arduino is connected to a desktop computer. In the video you can see when I send the string "hola laser" (hello laser) from the netbook to the desktop.
Greetings! Sorry for the language of the video!

Thank you very much for your comments!

That is absolutely incredible! If you'd like, you could post a guide to help other make something similar.
Barely have a free moment I'll post a graphic guide!

How does it perform if placed up side down? I mean, the back of the hand facing upwards.
Great project.
It has two tendons for each finger. One that closes finger and another opens finger. So that if placed up side down, operates in the same way. Operation is not dependent on gravity.

Hi! I'm from Argentina, i build a robotic hand with plastic moved by servos controlled by an Arduino Mega.
