A really, really minor thing, but was wondering why, the when forum is reloaded after Firefox browser is restarted, I see this...

http://forum.arduino.cc/index.php?token=9V94M1KGog4jKxEXg8ye

and have to delete all stuff after the ? for the forum to load.

Thanks.

Looks like they are using a Zen ToolWorks CNC machine with a 3D printed add-on.

They would get a lot more interest if they sold the add-on(s) seperately for CNC machine owners.

A good project for someone?
Basically a mini segway in a ball?

Something like this,

 but bluetooth controlled.

Much better when you can see how something works, I think.

This story has already been done with http://howsweetitwas.wordpress.com/2013/02/17/columbo-goes-to-college/, two students murder their teacher using remote control.

Yeah, but uses a mac mini for the face recognition, better to use a Raspi (with camera) for something like this.

You can`t do it without some extra hardware to amplify the mic input.

If you could find a way to send custom Caller ID (this sent before the phone rings, I think) then the arduino could decode this, at most the phone would only need to ring once.

Unless it could sold as "not approved for connection with the public telephone network line" getout clause.

Vellerman sell a Telephone Amp

kit, which I doubt has been approved for connection either. smiley
