It reminds us of the legendary Lakshmana who drew the Lakshmanrekha on which the creation of a young engineer’s expertise is destined to traverse with paramount and serene focus in shortest span possible!!TREAD IT!!!

Vistaar
Its a challenge for the young and mighty spirited souls to prove their proficiency in designing a Robotic Arm which can proliferate far and wide to reach the unreachable!!! STRETCH OUT!!!!

Drishti
Vision is the most wonderful gift given to us by the lord invincible. Why not put into an inanimate machine with the ever progressing field of Image Processing to win over the challenge?!!! ENVISAGE IT!!!

Parishkaar
In this ruthless world of lost humanitarianism and generosity, let us join hands to tap our benevolence and concern towards the major social problems of the society by bringing out the creativity within us and putting it into the lifeless, embodied by the technological advancements in Robotics!! SOLVE IT!!!!

Sarvagaami
Facing the ordeals with a smile is the ultimate essence of life. Put these skills into a robot helping it to hurtle through the intimidating terrains with an astonishing grace!! ACHIEVE IT!!!!!

Vidyutheen
“There is a force more powerful than electricity: THE WILL” YES!! This event is a provocation to build a robot that can drift solely with hydraulic power!! In today’s day of undiminished dependency on electric power, let us come out of the box and bring out the ingenuity and talent in conserving our precious resources and saving our Mother Earth!! PROVE IT!!!

Samvedana
“Communication is the real work of leadership. The more elaborate and accurate our means of communication, the less we communicate.”
This event is yet another feast for the participants to exhibit their aptitude and expertise in the field of Signal Processing. It calls upon the brilliance of young minds to come up with an innovative robot that can accurately and skilfully communicate and reciprocate to the Radio Frequency Signals!!
FACE IT!!!!

Jaladhmaatra
Its an entirely different and refreshing event for the fun lovers. An event filled with loads of amusement and of course WATER, Jaladhmaatra is all about Aqua-robotics. The participant is expected to design a robot that can suck in water and splash it up on an object to push it off its place!! ENJOY IT!!!!
Undoubtedly, the event has geared up its pace with a rejuvenated zeal to give the participants an “Adrenaline High”!!! “Come and witness the most awaited euphoric event and get embraced by the ecstasy of its glory!!!”

9  International / India / workshop of its first kind in india on: July 13, 2012, 11:46:13 am
 SixthSense Botz
“SixthSense Botz” is the India’s 1st vision based robotics workshop designed by team ARK.
The workshop is all about creating a robot that can interface the digital world with the physical world.
People say that, “Vision is the art of seeing the invisible.” But, hey!! Don’t get tensed!! You’ll just be taught to design a robot that need not have to see the invisible, but will be able to sense the obstacle as well as visualize what it is sensing, without using the traditional sensors like IR, ultrasonic, LDR etc, but through the field of IMAGE PROCESSING with it’s rapid evolving tool of MATLAB.
So, Come!!!! “Let us not just stare up the steps but step up the stairs of the next generation robots!!!!”

Applications that will be taught to the participants in the workshop:
 Colour Recognition Application.
 Ball following robot.
 Gesture controlled robot.
 Gesture controlled windows media player.
 Gesture controlled mouse pointer (demo).

DURATION:
Workshop will be conducted for 2 Consecutive days, theory and hands on session (8 hours per day). In the end, the team will organise a small competition, the winner of which will be awarded with certificate of merit and other prizes.
The SixthSense Botz KIT Contains:
Usb Powered circuit board built in popular (AT89c2051)   controller.
 Intex Webcam. (Optional)
 DC geared motors.
ABS polished wheels with metal couplings.
 Castor Wheels.
 General Purpose robotic vehicle chassis.
 Ball for Image Processing. (Optional)
 Usb type-A to type-B cable.
 Screw driver.
 Different colors insulation tape.
 Nuts, Screws and much more.
CHARGES:

Rs. 1000.
(For outstation participants: Issue a Demand Draft in favour of “The Principal, SNIST”.)
The charges include:
Training fee of the 2 day workshop.
 Information and software CD.
 Individual participation certificate.
