It's not "useless".
I like it.  It's a box with a sense of humour.  smiley-lol

Maybe you could publish more details for us...

Hi,
where did you source the HTU21 sensor from?.
3  Community / Exhibition / Gallery / Re: Arduino + FreeRTOS + C++ = Platform for Teaching Real-Time Software Design on: May 19, 2012, 04:51:34 am
Interesting idea.

Some very basic projects showing its capabilities would be appreciated.

Impressive write-up.

It could be mentioned in there, but where are you buying the Tx and RX modules from?.

Hi dhunt,

if you're written up the code/project anywhere I'd like to read it.

Hi Thomas,

a video of it working, and possible a schematic diagram, would help display the functionality you have implemented.

Its a BOPLA ET-205 (4€) and ET-227 (13€), bought at www.reichelt.de
Greetings,

Hi Axel,
what about the enclosure shown in your first post?.
"DG2AB"?

It looks fine Toby.
10  Using Arduino / Sensors / Re: Problem with DS18B20 sensors on: August 20, 2011, 10:23:40 pm
why there is no atmega328 on site ?

Look at the page http://arduino-direct.com/sunshop/index.php?l=product_list&c=1 which has nice Arduinos using Atmel's 328 microcontroller.

And regarding shipping, for specific enquiries take note of:
"Please contact us with any questions about shipping: Shipping@YourDuino.com"
11  Using Arduino / Sensors / Re: Difference between bare DS18B20 and DS18B20 on integrated circuit on: August 19, 2011, 11:03:37 pm
That'd be a printed circuit, as opposed to an integrated circuit.
Agreed.  Using the wrong terminology makes things confusing.

On the item mentioned, the DS18B20 is mounted on a Printed Circuit Board (PCB).
It appears that this includes a pull-up resistor (that is normally required on the Data pin), hence the board can be connected directly to an Arduino's inputs, as shown at  http://www.dfrobot.com/wiki/index.php?title=18B20_Temerature_Sensor_(Arduino_Compatible)_(SKU:_DFR0024)
12  Using Arduino / Sensors / Re: Oil temp sender. Can someone help me come up with a function for this plot? on: August 15, 2011, 08:34:52 pm
Bebbetufs,

if you do use multiMap, please give some feedback of your experience.  It looks like a useful function (though I have not used it yet).

Love it.
15  Using Arduino / Audio / Re: Vs1053b MP3 Shield on: August 07, 2011, 10:12:13 pm
I have purchased a MP3 shield frm sparkfun (VS1053b).
The board successfully generates a 'Hello' sound when the sample code is burned on my arduino, but I want to interface an SD card and play mp3 files stored in it. I can't figure out what should be done.
So pls help me ...
There's a similar project at http://kalum.posterous.com/50759184 that is well written-up, that should be helpful.
