I recently tried to use my Arduino Uno R3 to publish data on a TV.
I connected the GND cable of my RCA jack to the ground of Arduino & followed these schematic

Nothing happened when I attached the RCA cable to video in composit.
I'm not sure whether every thing here I/m doing is on the right way.
Is there any setting change that I need to do over the TV. I tried with the TV's cable service once plugged in & another time plugged out.
Also changed it in the code from NTSC to PAL as I recede in India.

So initially when I was driving it from the board, it current was the limitation? hmm; got it now.

Thanks; it worked with 6 volt :Ds. But why it was troubling with 9volts? I thought it have an internal pullup resistor in the circuit! smiley-confuse

It's with the timer 2, that's for sure. But before I make the initial values as 0mph, I need an expert opinion on this & a better way of doing this.
& showing 2mph for a static body's sort of absurd. But that's mathematics going in there.
I confused myself on this. Just started studying Timers

Your 2nd guess's right.
So you are saying that writing "port.write();" in processing & Serial.println();" in arduino will not interfere with each other? That's great news. smiley

After I downloaded the _SpeechAdvancedTraining, I got a value of silent of 300 something, f1 as 32 & f2 as 115. So eventually selected 70 (in between f1 & f2 values). Even edited the uspeech.h with these values.

Now the LED test's not working! smiley-confuse
My LED PIN always remains high.
Tried calibration.pde & it gives a Phenome value as "f' always, & voice strength value keeps on increasing automatically.
I tried to experiment with different valuse of f, u etc in the phenome.cpp also. eventually got confused.
help required

I applied.
Connected the ground from the servo's GND to Arduino's GND & the GNd of my 9v cell.
The 9V cell's VCC goes to the servo's +ve terminal.
Still I have the illogical, serial data independent complete rotation problem. Though the Arduino doesn't get disconnected now.

Is it possible to send data from Arduino and at the same time send data back to it through serial communication at the same time?
I want to display some analog sensor data into processing & also want to control a servo attached to the same Arduino, from the same GUI's buttons
Does the baud rate effects any ways?

When I attached the servo as said in this tutorial:

,I encountered a problem. As soon as I connect the servo, either it keeps on rotating continuously or the Arduino gets disconnected from the computer.

Any help is welcome

I recently got an Arduino Pro Mini 3.3V/8MHz & also I was having a FTDI Break out board
(This one):

Now The Rx-TX lines are of 5volts here unlike the Sparkfun's FTDI board which is having a jumper two logically lower the communication pins.
My Board on the other hand have only a 3.3v VCC line along with a separate 5v VCC, but no jumper to logically lower the communication pins.

I did a mistake:
I connected the 3.3v of the FTDI board to the Arduino Pro mini's VCC.
Rx(5volt logic) of FTDI board - Tx of Arduino Pro mini.
Tx(5volt logic) of FTDI board - Rx of Arduino Pro mini.
Gnd - GND.

And now all my pins of arduino Pro mini shows 3.3v high logic when I disconnected the FTDI board & connected a 3.3v poer supply to the Arduino.

Is it fried? I ordered the Sparkfun's 3.3v FTDI board recently.
