The one im looking at says its the latest, i can clearly see it's not cous it doesn't have the holes for the PoE module. But it has a sd-card slot and a dedicated icsp female header in the rear end. I will go for that one.

It's a bit confusing, retailers says rev3 but the schematics says 06...
Could i do the conclusion that if it has a micro SD slot then its compatible with Mega?
And in the ref i see this line

The most recent revision of the board exposes the 1.0 pinout on rev 3 of the Arduino UNO board.

So if i don't have UNO rev3 i wouldn't benefit from latest rev (6)..?

Im about to buy me an Ethernet shield for my old Mega 1280.
I see there is different revs and the older ones are really cheap. so my question is: Is there any benefits using rev 3 on my old mega board.
I tried to look in the hardware index section but there is no rev history for the ethernet shield so i cant make any comparison...

I found out that MFC42.dll has a close relationship with Visual C++ so I uninstalled my Visual C++, rebooted, renamed the old MFC42.dll and copied the one that I got with HiloUpgrader-v1.0.0.0-Pack and BOOM, HiloUpgrader started like a charm  8-)

Hope this is the correct place to ask about this.
I have the Hilo gprs module from Libelium and want to upgrade to new firmware. But when i start HiloUpgrader.exe it only trows a error on MFC42.DLL. I have tried to replace the .dll with the one followed in the HiloUpgrader-v1.0.0.0-Pack that I found on this forum with no results at all. Any one here that knows anything about this problem?
I have contacted Libelium but they say I should talk to Sagem so now im trying to get in touch with them but im testing here at the same time (Sagem support seems really slow).

I have SparFuns pre assembled and mine is of by 6 sec/day, will get a new crystal to see if this one is damaged.
Else i will get a DS3231, both cheaper and has a temp compensation.

Ok Libelium isn't the best in documentations.
Have u put your module baud rate with command AT+IPR=115200 and is the shield in "USB mode" also is the hilo-upgrader the only program connected to your Arduino?

I cant get the gprs module to work in standalone mode. I can send sms messages no problem using the hyperterminal and the code given in the libelium tutorial. I have the Arduino using a power adapter and the capacitor as shown but still no messages when the device is put in standalone configuration. Can anyone shed some light on this for me?  Huh

Have u read this entire thread and is your module upgraded to a newer firmware? if not u can start by doing that, upgradeing info can be found @ www.libelium.com

Is it only I that cant get the HiLO upgrader to work?
I have replaced the mfc42.dll tried to unregister and reregister it. rebooting computer downloading a new one same procedure and still gets

In English it says "Can't find order number"...

Darnit! so a load under 40W won't work that well  :'(
and we have to putt zero at around 1.7V to not get any dead time.
maybe this dimmer wasn't that good for me as it looked like....
