1  Using Arduino / Interfacing w/ Software on the Computer / Program for graph by temperature sensors on: July 29, 2013, 05:53:38 am
Hello

Does someone know a freeware program, which can show the actual temperature from DS18B20-sensors (3 sensors, at the same time).

My requierments for the program:
- Graph x/y with sensorvalue and time.
- Simple
- Ajustable speed for time

It will also be great to have logging posibilities, etc. saving to *.csv format.
2  Using Arduino / Installation & Troubleshooting / ACS712 current measuring on: November 22, 2012, 12:15:38 pm
Hello everyone

I´ve got my new ACS712 chip (like: http://tinyurl.com/a6g9lfg )

I´ve hooked some power consumption appliance through the screw terminal. Hooked 5V for the VCC and Ground til GND. I´ve putted my meter (VDC) to the GND  and OUT on the board. (The LED on the board is power on)

The problem is i´ve only got 2,416 VDC out, even if I took the appliance out of the circuit, and there is no consumption.

Have I missed something ??
3  Using Arduino / General Electronics / Measure current ? on: October 10, 2012, 11:29:36 am
Hey Everybody

Can someone tell me the cheapest way to measure current. I need to measure up to 10A / 230VAC. ??

Maybe there is a link to a look-a-like project ??
4  Using Arduino / Programming Questions / Energy-consumption Data to a database for charts ect. on: September 02, 2012, 12:05:35 pm
hello everyone

I´ve made a energy-"meter", where I can see the energy-consompution for each hour (Data is logged to a SD-card). Now I need a way, to see these data, and a way to do automaticly charts etc....

Are there somebody here, who have experience with putting data to a external database such as mySQL, fra the Arduino project??

I need some comments, what is easiest for a Arduino newbie to made som visualisation ?? Knowledge about other look-a-like projects ??
5  Using Arduino / Programming Questions / Re: Somthing to run, only when called on: August 24, 2012, 11:07:52 am
THANKS Poul!!!!

My bad was little vs. big letters (WriteSd was anthoer place been to writeSd).... Sorry my bad..!
6  Using Arduino / Programming Questions / Re: Somthing to run, only when called on: August 24, 2012, 10:37:31 am
Thanks PoulS

When I´m doing:

Code:
if (log1 = true) {
      Serial.print(F("  "));
      Serial.print(WattSD);
      Serial.print(F("   "));
      char filename[] = "LOG_096.txt";
      if (!sd.begin(chipSelect, SPI_HALF_SPEED)) sd.initErrorHalt();
         if (!myFile.open(filename, O_RDWR | O_CREAT | O_AT_END)) {
              sd.errorHalt("SDFAILD");
              }
      log1 = false;
      WriteSd();
    }

I got the error that WriteSd(); isen´t declared in the scoop. How to do that??
7  Using Arduino / Programming Questions / Somthing to run, only when called on: August 24, 2012, 10:12:13 am
Hello

Is it possible to make somthing out of the void loop() ? etc. somthing like "void writeSd()", that can save data to a SD-card. If that is possible, how do i call the WriteSd() from the loop, ONLY one time??.
I my mind it is not nessecary to read the whole loop, when the program has to write to the SD-card, ect. every 10 minutes. This will only cost on the performance.

Sorry for my bad english, but this is a fantastic help-site, for learning.

Really many thanks for helping me!!!! I hope this solved the problem.
9  Using Arduino / Programming Questions / Re: My sketch freeze on: August 24, 2012, 04:37:31 am
I´m using the:

Code:
Serial.print(FreeRam()); // Show free memory

to print the free memory, but I don´t know if this update? it stays at the same value all over the project until it freeze.

You can see my code, that is attached to my first post.

about the int unsigned long, it dosen´t complain about it. Should I remove the "int" ??
10  Using Arduino / Programming Questions / Re: My sketch freeze on: August 24, 2012, 04:29:58 am
WOAV. I doubled the free memory from 188 byte to 405 byte. I hope this helps

I will try.

What happens with the F macro ??
12  Using Arduino / Programming Questions / Re: My sketch freeze on: August 24, 2012, 02:01:18 am
Can you give an example, how to do ?? I pretty new into this programming...

Anyways thanks for help smiley
13  Using Arduino / Programming Questions / My sketch freeze on: August 24, 2012, 12:55:23 am
Hello Everyone

I´ve got a big problem with my datalogger (Arduino Ethernet, included RTC 1307. After about 4-6 hours the datalogger freeze. I assumed that it´s when the Arduino are writing to the SD card.
Can everyone tell me what´s wrong?? (I´ve got about 188 Byte of ram free, all the time, when the datalogger are running.)

The Arduino code is included in this post.
14  Using Arduino / Programming Questions / Help to SDfat logging application with RTC on: August 22, 2012, 03:22:45 am
Hello everyone

I´ve made a logging code for my Arduino (and copy from others!). Sometimes the logging goes wrong, while writing the data to the SD-card. Sometimes it fails with wierd text (in serial monitor), other times the it freeze in serial monitor.

I think it´s because of overflow in the memory ?
Can I do somthing to get som free memory, when writing to SD card? (examples please?)

The code is made as an attach in txt-format
15  Using Arduino / Programming Questions / Simple way to get access via ethernet to SD CSV-file on: August 16, 2012, 10:53:45 am
Hello everyone

Now I´m almost finish with my datalogger. (with a Arduino Ethernet Board)

I it possible, to get access to the datalogger file (in CSV format), by the internet? I´ve tried the WebServer Sketch, but I can´t figure how to print the file in explorer, when accessing via http:\\home-ip

If its easyer to make a http:\\home-in\datalog.csv it could be SO fine, anyone who can guide me, the right way??

(I´ve tried this guide: http://www.ladyada.net/learn/arduino/ethfiles.html - but the "sdFat.h" and SD.h doesn´t go hand-in-hand...I´ve used SD.h in my datalogger project)
