2  Using Arduino / Networking, Protocols, and Devices / GSM Module SIM900 detect incoming call on: December 22, 2013, 12:44:08 pm
Hi all

Im using the SIM 900 to detect an incoming call i used the following code but i can't  detect the incoming caller number

Code:
//Serial Relay - pour Arduino 1.0
//
// Arduino will patch a serial link between the computer
// and the GPRS Shield at 19200 bps 8-N-1
//Computer is connected to Hardware UART
//GPRS Shield is connected to the Software UART

#include <SoftwareSerial.h>    // For Arduino 1.0

SoftwareSerial mySerial(7, 8); // For Arduino 1.0

void setup()
{
  mySerial.begin(19200);               // the GPRS baud rate
  Serial.begin(19200);                 // the GPRS baud rate
}

void loop()
{
    if(Serial.available())
    {
       char c = Serial.read();
       mySerial.print(c);
     }
    else  if(mySerial.available())
    {
        char c = mySerial.read();
       Serial.println(c);
     }
}

But the problem i can see only RING
Is there a way to detect the number (With AT command)

BR

Hi

Can you please post some code in order to execute this AT command

AT+CIPSEND
PUT /test/gettempdata.php?TI=19.12&TO=21.75&TR=32.63 HTTP/1.1

Hi thanks for the answers i really have the same code and still the same problem (CME ERROR code 765 )

I tried with two SIM CARD in Switzerland.

I tried ao empty the sms stored in the SIM (mySerial.println("AT+CMGD=1,4")smiley-wink

I really block

Thanks for your help

Hi,

I have a problem sending SMS with SIM900 i can make a call but there is an Error when i tried to send SMS.

AT+CMGF=1

OK
AT+CMEE=1

OK

Thanks
6  Using Arduino / Networking, Protocols, and Devices / GPS MediaTek MT3329 10Hz on: December 05, 2012, 10:56:21 am
HI,

I have this GPS shield http://emartee.com/product/42230/10Hz%20MediaTek%20MT3329%20GPS%20Module%20With%20Antenna
I can't use this shield with an arduino Uno since in all librairies such http://code.google.com/p/ardupilot-mega/downloads/list

they use the Serial1 (it's for arduino Mega) .  Please is there any one that success to read data from this shield using an Arduino Uno

Many Thanks

Hello,

I need to  connect the following SIM900 with my arduino http://shop.boxtec.ch/pub/iteadstudio/GRPS_module_DS.pdf

To connect that module i think that i can do that:

P----> ??????
Rst-----> the Reset of the arduino
Tx-----> the TX of the Arduino
Rx------> the RX of tha arduino
DT------>???????
DR------>???????
(-)------->the GND of the arduino
(+)------>the 5V of the arduino

My problem is where to plug the P (Power switch pin of SIM900 module) and the DT (Debug UART data output)  and the DR (Debug UART data input).

Thanks

Very Nice this forum smiley-wink

This is my second question and there is no answer...

very motivating

Hi

Is that possible to use a GSM GPRS Shield (SIM900) with an SMA antenna?

My goal is to get my coordinate even by GSM localisation.

Is there someone ho get the coordinate using the GSM relay.

thanks

Hi,
This is my first post in the forum,
My question is there someone who used the "Siemens Cellular Engine MC 45 or MC 46" ?
