2  Using Arduino / Programming Questions / Please Help on: May 26, 2013, 12:13:00 pm
Hi,
I am using Gabriel Bianconi Wiichuck library. Thanks Gabriel. I am a complete noob and am trying to put an if statement into my program. Here is my code.
Code:
if(nunchuk.cButton == 1);{Serial.println("1234567890");}
when I upload this "1234567890" prints every time. It does not matter if nunchuk.cButton is pressed it just prints "1234567890". Please help.

3  Using Arduino / Sensors / Adafruit barometric pressure sensor on: May 09, 2013, 02:50:45 pm
Hiya,
I have a Adafruit barometric pressure sensor:
http://adafruit.com/products/992
I wired a LCD up so that the sensor would print the readings onto the LCD. When I plug the 5 volts into the sensor the screen of the LCD goes dark and the arduino power light goes off. What is wrong?

Hiya,
Will this code and library work with a Sparkfun micro SD card shield? Can I do something when the program is running? The code and library are in the link below. If this wont work can somebody give me code that would.

6  Using Arduino / Project Guidance / Audio on: May 01, 2013, 11:15:48 am
Hiya,
I want to make a talking clock. Is there a way to create sound by a speaker without buying a chip or shield? I have seen some things online about audio off of a micro SD card I have the micro SD card shield from Sparkfun but I do not know if this will help. Is there any way to do this? I want it to be able to speak the time, date, temperature, and humidity.

7  Using Arduino / Installation & Troubleshooting / Mega Drivers on: April 10, 2013, 07:32:01 pm
Hiya,
I have tried loading drivers onto the Mega 2560 multiple times. I have Windows 8. When I select the drivers file to load it says " The third-part INF does not contain digital signature information." What is my problem? Am I selecting the right folder? Right now I am selecting the whole drivers file.
Help is greatly appreciated

Hi,
Is the Arduino program and arduino drivers compatible with Windows 8? It would really help to know. If arduino is not compatible with windows 8 is there a easy noob way to let me be able to do arduino? My problem might not be because of Windows 8 it could be completely un-related.

10  Using Arduino / Project Guidance / Re: Tricorder ideas on: October 13, 2012, 07:05:48 pm
Hi,
The breadboard is for prototyping the tricorder. I don't know what on it's shoulder means but I know the chip is easy to use and I would really prefer to use it.
11  Using Arduino / Project Guidance / Tricorder ideas on: October 13, 2012, 06:22:12 pm
Hi,
I am working on a Tricorder project. I have a casing that I want to use and figured out how to fit a Mega and other components in. My problem is that I have a large breadboard for prototyping. I can not fit the breadboard into the case. I have a LCD with a chip and do not want to solder it to a PCB board. Does anybody have a idea that does not include soldering? preferably something that does not include buying.
Thanks in advance
